Description: We are hiring a full-time CT Tech to support our service members and their families at the VA Portland Health Care System. This site is located in Portland, Oregon and has been serving Veterans since 1921. This health care center serves more than 95,000 unique Veterans and 950,000 outpatient Veteran visits each year in Oregon and Southwest Washington. This center consists of the main tertiary care medical center overlooking the city of Portland, the Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, Wash., and ten outpatient clinics across Central and Northwest Oregon. Requirements:
a. Successful completion of an accredited educational training program in which technologists are certified as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and must be certified for their specialty.
b. Technologists must be currently certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
c. Two years experience in the operation of diagnostic radiology equipment under the direction of a Radiologist or other medical officer to produce radiographic studies/images used in medical diagnosis and treatment.
d. Must have worked within a hospital lab setting as a CT in the last six months;
f. Be available to work for the VA at least six (6) months after start date;
